The hope each cross demonstrates the metaphor; Jesus wants all the broken pieces. Each mosaic piece requires a three day process. The art is done in the style of "Pique Assiste". Literally translated as "stolen plate," this mosaic style results in colorful and unusual mosaics made of bits and pieces of imperfect treasures. Sometimes this mosaic work is called "memory ware" because of the use of ordinary items found in our daily lives. In this case, the artist created most of these mosaics from china patterns she admires for their own artistry.

I learned we store emotions with colors and shapes very unconsciously. Each mosaic cross is unique as the china pattern and cross shape chosen. Orders or commissions for pieces may be made.
Habitat for Humanity donations made each year for the work in our Southern states as well as World Vision.
